From PORTAGE LIONS CLUB
The Portage Lions Club performed a preschool vision screening at Elmwood School. A total of 59 students were screened on Sept. 30.
Auto-refractor equipment measured visual acuity to help identify far- and near-sightedness. Dot stereopsis cards were used to identify possible lazy eyes.
Children with potential issues were referred to follow up with their physician or optometrist.
