Ohio House Bill 276 passed the House with a vote of 94-0, designating Master Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Edward C. Byers Jr., Medal of Honor Recipient Highway on parts of Ohio 65 in Wood County, and a stretch of Ohio 25 in Perrysburg as Sgt. Arthur A. Mora, Jr. Memorial Highway, State Rep. Haraz Ghanbari, R-Perrysburg, announced today.

Byers is a graduate of Otsego High School.

Also included in the bill is the designation of other multiple memorial highways and bridges across the state. The legislation honors distinguished veterans and recognizes community leaders and individuals who made a difference in the lives of those around them and who accomplished important work in their communities.
