The Bowling Green Electric Department is continuing to work to restore power to homes in Bowling Green.
Power went out when a vehicle struck a transmission pole on Gypsy Lane at the railroad tracks.
John Rehm, superintendent of the department, said at this point he does not know how many homes were affected.
Who may have been affected depends on what circuits they are on. While St. Mark’s on College St. was out, Bowling Green State University had power.
Some customers, including some on the west side of the city, lost power as the process to bring other customers back on line.
“It takes time,” Rehm said.
