Reproductive rights protests continue in downtown BG

Protestors gathered at the intersection of Wooster and Main in downtown BG on July 1.

For the third time since the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last week, demonstrators gathered at the intersection of Main and Wooster in downtown Bowling Green.

Almost 100 people gathered at about 4 p.m. with others continuing to join.

The protest is expected to last until about 6 p.m. A week ago a handful of protestors remained on the corner until 10 p.m.
