Robert J. Berg (“Robin”) died at Bridge Hospice Care Center on July 19, 2024 at the age of 74. He received his doctoral degree at the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) in 1989, after which he pursued his career as a professor and writer at BGSU. He wrote nine books, all in French, published in the U.S., Canada, and France. Four of them became widely used textbooks (on business French, French literature and French film). His hobbies were marksmanship and World War II. He is survived by Laurence (“Lauren”), his wife of four decades.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.
