The Rossford Convention & Visitors Bureau invites community members and businesses to become part of the 2026 Rossford Balloon & Fireworks Fest – America 250, taking place Friday – Sunday, July 17 – 19, in the Rossford Crossroads at the southeast corner of Crossroads Parkway and Bass Pro Boulevard, across from Murphy Tractor.
The expanded three-day celebration will feature hot air balloons, balloon glows, tethered balloon rides, pyro-musical fireworks, live entertainment, Heritage Day programming, food vendors, family activities, and more – all with free admission.
Volunteer ambassadors needed
The festival is now recruiting volunteer ambassadors to help welcome thousands of attendees from northwest Ohio and beyond. Volunteers may assist with admissions, guest information, VIP hospitality, activity areas, and general event support.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and will receive:
- A commemorative event T-shirt
- Free parking during their shifts
- One entry per shift worked into a drawing for a hot air balloon ride during the event (weather permitting)
Balloon & Fireworks Festival volunteers
All volunteers are required to attend the volunteer meeting and pizza party on Thursday, July 16, at 6 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to register by June 15 to guarantee a t-shirt in their size.
Hot air balloon sponsorships available
Businesses can also become part of the excitement through a hot air balloon sponsorship for $1,500.
Sponsors receive:
- Logo placement on a hot air balloon basket banner
- Branding on 500 hot air balloon trading cards
- 10 VIP tickets for Friday or Saturday night
- Event announcements and digital recognition
- Social media promotion
- Name inclusion on the official event map & schedule
- Entry into a drawing for a hot air balloon ride during the festival
The sponsorship provides businesses with a visible and memorable way to connect with thousands of festival guests while supporting one of the region’s premier family events.
