Sheriff’s Office Trunk or Treat goes on despite the rain

Ohio State Trooper Nick Palmer hands out candy to trick-or-treater.

The rain and wind didn’t stop area law enforcement officers and first responders from joining in the Wood County Sheriff’s Office Drive Thru Trunk or Treat on Monday evening.

Cars with young costumed trick-or-treaters were lined up for the annual event.

Participants drove through to see all the decorated trunks, while the law enforcement officers handed out candy.

Officers from several area police departments, the sheriff’s office, Wood County Emergency Management Agency, and Ohio State Patrol participated.
