The St. Louis Parish Annual Summer Festival is Sunday, Aug. 7, from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., at 22792 Defiance Pike, Custar.
Barbecued chicken will be prepared by the Milton Township Volunteer Fire Department, with serving from 11 a.m. until gone.
There will also be La Familia Martinez Mexican Food, plus hamburgers, brats, french fries in the beer tent.
A handmade quilt raffle will be held at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for $1 each or six for $5.
Other activities include:
- Marketplace featuring handmade crafts, baked goods and vegetables.
- Kids’ games from 12 to 7 p.m.
- Bingo from 1 to 9 p.m.
- Children’s pedal pull at 2 p.m.
- Scavenger hunt
- DJ Mike Mitchell from 4-8 p.m.
Raffle Tickets are available for the Combination “Big Ticket,” with a $3,000 first prize, for a donation of $1 each or $10 for 15. Winners will be announced at 9 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.
