Trivia night to raise funds for BGHS after-prom

BGHS Junior Class officers Mack Maxey, Meredith Buchhop, Katelyn Czerniak, Sam Kozey, Xander Sands, Colton Barricklow, Presley Hogrefe and Calista Motisher are helping plan for the Bowling Green High School Prom, scheduled for April 25, 2026.

The Bowling Green High School Parent After-Prom Committee is inviting community members and local businesses to help support the 2026 BGHS After-Prom by donating raffle items, monetary contributions, or participating in an upcoming trivia night fundraiser.

The committee is partnering with Live Source, a fundraising app that specializes in auctions and raffles. The platform allows access for donations and provides a digital option for community members who wish to participate.

The trivia night fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, March 18, from 7 – 9 p.m. at Juniper Brewing Company. The first round will cost $5 per student and $10 per adult. The second round, starting at 8 p.m., will cost $5 for all participants. Teams may include up to six people or participants may play individually.

The BGHS Parent After-Prom committee includes Cara and Kirk Maxey, Elise and Brian Buchhop, Mary Beth and Jim Czerniak, Erin Kozey and Ryan Kozey, Cindy Ducar and Ben Motisher, Charity and Nick Hogrefe, Jamie Richards and Katie Barricklow.

The BGHS Junior Class Officers who are currently planning the 2026 prom include Mack Maxey, Meredith Buchhop, Katelyn Czerniak, Sam Kozey, Xander Sands, Colton Barricklow, Presley Hogrefe, and Calista Motisher.

Community support through donations and participation will help ensure BGHS can have a memorable and safe celebration.

The BGHS After-Prom will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 11:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. at the Bowling Green State University Perry Field House. Students will be in a supervised environment as they continue the celebrations after their prom. The event will include games, food, and entertainment.
