Two new Bowling Green firefighters were sworn in Monday evening by Mayor Mike Aspacher. Kayla Laumann and Dolly Outland have both completed their one-year probation period. Fire Chief Bill Moorman congratulated the two, noting the sacrifices involved in a firefighting career. Showing their support in the council chambers were rows of fellow firefighters, who are the extended family of Laumann and Outland, Moorman said.
