The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have selected Vanessa Espinosa as the January 2025 Student of the Month. Vanessa is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 25, 2025. She is the daughter of Laura and Angel Espinosa.
Vanessa’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, class vice president, and Spanish club co-president. This school year, Vanessa has established and oversees a peer tutoring program at the high school that is available to all students. Vanessa is also the student representative on the Bowling Green Human Relations Commission for the City of Bowling Green.
Outside of school, Vanessa is an attendant at the Bowling Green City Pool and a babysitter for young children. She currently has a 4.33 GPA and has completed many honors and AP classes in high school. After high school, Vanessa plans to attend a four-year university.
