From VFW POST 1148
VFW Post 1148 will be serving an appreciation chicken barbecue that recognizes the service of local firefighters, law enforcement officers, and first responders. The event is free and open to the public and will take place on Saturday, May 2, from noon – 6 p.m., at 719 S. Main St., Bowling Green.
The event will also include collections of food items and school supplies for:
- Brown Bag Food Pantry
- Wood County Schools
- The Cocoon
