On Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 9 a.m., volunteers will be gathering at the AMP DG Solar Site on Carter Road to plant 350 various types of flowering shrubs for the pollinator project. These are the tallest of the pollinators being planted and are located outside the fence on the north side so as not to shade the solar field.
The holes will be pre-drilled for the 1 gallon to 3 gallon shrubs to be unloaded and set into the ground. Work will continue on Oct. 24 at a time to be determined.
