From WGTE PUBLIC MEDIA

Some local people may be wondering, “Do data centers have a future home in northwest Ohio? Do data centers belong in our backyards?” These are questions that will be discussed in a live community town hall forum titled, “Under the Spotlight: Data Centers in Our Backyard,” moderated by Jerry Anderson. This community conversation will explore the growing presence of data centers in northwest Ohio and their impact on the local economy and future development.

The event is free and open to the public and will also be livestreamed at wgte.org/livestream. For those who have questions about data centers in their community, they are encouraged to submit their questions ahead of time to townhall@wgte.org and join the discussion live or online.

The event and topic are both gaining momentum, though some view it as controversial.
