Bowling Green Police arrested a woman after she allegedly assaulted a man at his home in the 1400 block of Brookwood Drive, on Saturday (12/28).

Zoe Whitlock, 21, with an address listed as Blacklick, Ohio, was cited for aggravated burglary and assault. She was taken to Wood County Jail.

When police arrived at the home around 6:30 p.m., the woman allegedly told officers that she went into the home uninvited, to confront a male she previously had a relationship with. She reportedly swung her keys on a lanyard and struck him twice in the face, causing the man’s eyebrow to split open and bleed down his face. As she left, Whitlock reportedly slammed the front door on the man’s finger, causing it to be dripping with blood when police arrived.

She was cautioned to not return to the residence.
