GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green will hold another drive-thru collection event on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in conjunction with Danberry Real Estate.

Club members will set up open SUVs in the parking lot surrounding the building located at 311 S. Main St., to collect donations for the club’s ongoing causes specifically including The Cocoon, BG Christian Food Pantry, and Brown Bag Food Project.

All of these agencies welcome full sized, unopened personal hygiene products for adults and babies, and laundry and home cleaning supplies. In addition, BG Christian Food Pantry also accepts food condiments, puddings and cake mixes; Brown Bag Food Project also welcomes cereal, peanut butter, tampons and Kid’s Pull-Ups.

Other community clubs and local residents are invited to participate in this civic engagement project. For any questions, contact President Kim Roessner at 419-308-4298. GFWC Women’s Club of Bowling Green continues to search for new ways to support community service projects.
