Wood County has a total of 80 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, according to the latest update from the Wood County Health Department.
Nine county residents with the virus have died in the last 10 days.
As of today, 30 of those with the virus reside in long-term care facilities in the county. A total of 34 are hospitalized.
Those with the virus range in age from 20 to 96, with the median age of 61. Of those, 45 are female, 35 are male.
No additional information about the 80 Wood County residents will be provided by the health department in order to protect their privacy.
