Wood County Hospital continues investing  in the field of robotic surgery through the purchase of ExcelsiusGPS®. This advanced technology enhances safety and precision, providing better spine visualization during surgery.

“The ExcelsiusGPS® robot continues our journey into offering Wood County Hospital patients advanced minimally invasive surgical technology. This platform improves precision and safety for our patients with back, neck and spine problems. For many patients this translates to shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery. At WCH we are proud to take leadership in the Northwest Ohio region with ExcelsiusGPS® stated Stan Korducki, WCH President.

Brought to Wood County Hospital through a Wood County Hospital Foundation grant, this robotic system will allow the best care for our patients. This technology will be used in a variety of procedures, ranging from spinal fusion surgeries, neck surgery, scoliosis

correction, fracture repairs, artificial disc, lumbar interbody fusion, minimally invasive lumbar fusion and posterior lumbar instrumented fusion.
