Wood County Hospital to host ‘Ladies’ Night Out’ with education, stress relief and giveaways

From WOOD COUNTY HOSPITAL

Wood County Hospital will once again offer an evening with friends that brings together education, stress relief, prevention, and early detection of common health concerns for women. As part of its 75th anniversary year, the event reflects a long-standing commitment to supporting the health of women in the community and something that has remained a priority since the hospital first opened its doors, under the leadership of its first administrator, Annabelle Kinney.

Ladies’ Night Out will be held on Thursday, April 30, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. This free event is designed to encourage women to prioritize their health, even during the busiest seasons of life, and will highlight important aspects of women’s health that are often overlooked.

The evening will include appetizers, mocktails, screenings, tours, and giveaways. Guests can explore interactive tables featuring helpful information, practical takeaways, and insights on trending health topics. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet new providers, including OB-GYNs Dr. John Roost and Dr. Tamme Davis, along with the hospital’s new general surgeon, Dr. David Kim.

There will be a chance to be entered to win one of three gift cards, and swag bags will be available while supplies last. The event will take place at the main entrance of Wood County Hospital. While the event is free, registration is requested by visiting https://woodcountyhospital.activehosted.com/f/72.

This is an opportunity to gather with friends, enjoy a fun evening, and learn more about women’s health, prevention, and the services available at Wood County Hospital.
