Wood County has reported 227 new COVID cases, one death and seven hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 16,890 cases, 245 deaths, and 772 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 45 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 324 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 602 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 199; Bowling Green, 126; BGSU campus, 6; Northwood, 60; North Baltimore, 32; Walbridge, 32; and Rossford, 21.
