Wood County has reported 247 new COVID cases, two more deaths, and five new hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 15,513 cases, 238 deaths, and 729 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 57 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 434 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 702 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 169; Bowling Green, 164; BGSU campus, 49; Northwood, 45; North Baltimore, 42; Walbridge, 25; Wayne, 26; Rossford, 24; and Millbury, 24.
