Wood County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center found in full compliance with 911 operation rules

The Wood County Sheriff’s 911 Office Dispatch Center was recently audited by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, and found to be in full compliance with Public Service Answering Point operations rules.

Between August of 2023 and July of 2024, the sheriff’s office answered 36,111 calls through the 911 system. Of those calls, 35,972 were answered in 0-15 seconds, according to Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn.
