Members of the Bowling Green Exchange Club are wearing rabbit ears at their weekly lunch meetings as a reminder of the club’s April service project. From now until April 15, club members are collecting Easter candy and small non-candy gifts for Easter baskets that will be donated to the Brown Bag Food Project. The project grew from the Exchange Club’s interest in developing monthly projects in support of their areas of impact: youth projects, community service, Americanism, and the prevention of child abuse.
Donations from the community are welcome and can be dropped off at the weekly lunch meeting at noon on Tuesday, April 15 at Beckett’s Burger Bar in the back room, where the club invites you to stay for lunch and meet April’s Students of the Month from Bowling Green High School and Penta Career Center.
“We hope this project spreads some joy in the community,” said Michele Raine, Secretary for the Exchange Club.
