Jimmie R Brosius

Jimmie R. Brosius, 78, of Medina, Ohio, passed away April 30, 2025. He was born December 6, 1946, in Phoenix, Arizona, to the late James and Mary (Fickle) Brosius. He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Morrison) whom he was married to for 60 years.

Jimmie was saved in 1968 at The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. He taught Bible studies while living in Phoenix, Arizona, and in Medina, Ohio, and counseled many one-on-one. His favorite Bible verses were Proverbs 3:5-6, and he loved studying the Book of Romans. Jimmie was also part of an evangelistic ministry that went out on Saturday nights and helped people who were broke on the side of the road.

He enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball team and attending his son’s soccer games. Most of all, Jimmie loved spending his time with his wife. He retired from BP after 30 years. In his spare time, he loved working on stained glass pieces that he designed and sold. Jimmie always enjoyed sitting on their deck with his puppy Chloe and talking with neighbors over the fence.

Jimmie’s faith is now sight as he has joined his daughter Carol, who passed away January 15, 2025, his mother and father, and dear friends in heaven. He leaves behind his cherished wife Cheryl, son Jim (Pam) Brosius, grandchildren Cara (Tony) Ulring, Josiah (Ashley) Brosius, Cameron Brosius, and Maddox Brosius, as well as great-grandchildren Livi and one on the way in June.

A celebration of Jimmie’s life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.

Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
