Nancy Lee Wensink, 67, of Custar, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born April 19, 1958 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Robert and Marilyn “Joan” (McMaster) Trumbull. She was a 1976 graduate of Bowling Green High School. On March 14, 1977 she married David Wensink and he survives.
Nancy was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar and the Norcross-Myers American Legion #305 Auxiliary, Custar. Nancy had a knack for being creative with sewing and crafts. She shared many of her creations with family and friends. She enjoyed reading a good book, bowling in leagues and a fun night of playing BINGO. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David; children, Jeremy (Holly) Wensink; Sarah Wensink; Tonya (Keir) Holeman; grandchildren, Megan (Austin) Wiemken; Collin Britton (Maddy Horner); Sara Britton; Cole Wensink; Benjamin Holeman; Ryan Holeman; Aidan Holeman; great granddaughter, Myla Mae Wiemken; sisters Teressea (Bob) Deuel; Lou Ann (Larry) Swayne; Vickey (Bob) Dingus; brother, Wayne “Howie” (Bonni) Trumbull and sister-in-law, Marlene Trumbull. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and Robert “Bobby” Trumbull.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Fr. Jeff Walker officiating. Burial will be in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery and a luncheon will follow at the Milton Township Fire Department. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025 and 10-11 a.m., Friday prior to the services at the funeral home.
