Bowling Green Police arrested a man for domestic violence and unlawful restraint, after his alleged victim was able to text her mom to call police.
Jacob Morgan, 22, of Oak Harbor, was arrested Tuesday (June 3) around 7:15 p.m., at a home in the 300 block of Parkview Drive.
Police found the victim with dried blood on her lips and on her shirt. The woman told police that she tried to leave the home, but Morgan allegedly slammed her up against the wall, then to the ground. Every time she tried to get up, he reportedly threw her to the ground again.
The woman said she was able to open the window, screamed for help, and tried multiple times to escape. But each time she tried to jump out, Morgan allegedly pulled her back in by her belt.
According to the police report, Morgan admitted that he pulled her back into the trailer and sat on her. Officers found blood on the carpet from the victim’s nose, and large scratch marks on her inner bicep area.
Morgan was taken to Wood County Jail, and police completed domestic violence paperwork with the woman.
