Hal W. Lee, 92, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on July 22, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 11, 1932, to the late Blair and Junita (Rood) Lee. He married the love of his life Mary Price on July 3, 1953, beginning a marriage that would last more than 70 years.
Hal graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1950. Soon after, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty and dedication that he would carry throughout his life.
Hal was a man of many talents, but he especially found joy in woodworking. He also cherished his time at the family’s lake house on Devils Lake in Michigan, a favorite getaway where countless happy memories were made. Above all else, Hal loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather.
Along with his beloved wife Mary, Hal is survived by his children, Hal “Doug” (Nancy) Lee of Bowling Green, Ohio, Dawn Bowles of Bowling Green, Ohio, sister Sharon Eschedor of Defiance, Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Morlock, brother Richard Lee, and son-in-law Craig Bowles.
A visitation period for Hal will be held on Monday July 28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St. Full Military Honors will be rendered by the AMVETS Honor Detail.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Honor Flight Findlay, Ohio.
