Shirt sale benefits Wood County Parks’ Chessie Circle Trail project

Three styles of shirts in an assortment of colors support the Wood County Parks' Chessie Circle Trail project.

Friends of the Wood County Parks are selling shirts to raise funds for the Chessie Circle Trail project.

The Wood County Park District Flora/Fauna shirts are only on sale until Sept. 17, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to building the trail.

Shirts may be ordered at https://store.ortinauart.com/wcpd_chessie_circle_trail/shop/home.

Phase One of the Chessie Circle Trail project will span almost 1.5 miles, connecting River Road to the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, providing a safe, accessible route for families, walkers, runners and bicyclists. The trail will promote healthy lifestyles, enhance local mobility and provide long-term recreational and economic benefits to the community.

Phase Two of the project will connect the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve to Bates Road and provide another 1.25 miles of multi-use trail.
