From WOOD COUNTY COMMITTEE ON AGING, INC.

The Wood County Committee on Aging, Inc. (WCCOA), in partnership with Bowling Green State University, will present a workshop on Nov. 12 about “How to Talk About Difficult Topics in Your Close Relationships.” In this workshop, designed by graduate students in Relational Communication at BGSU, participants will plan to discuss a difficult topic in a close relationship.

Participants will discuss important close relationships, such as friendships, sibling relationships, parent-child relationships, and romantic relationships and approaches to talking about difficult topics such as finances, end of life planning, and health. Participants will identify a difficult topic and close relationship, consider their goals in the relationship, and select an approach that can work for them and their relationship.
