Wood County Humane Society, Brown Bag Food Project partner for holiday pet food drive

From WOOD COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

Wood County Humane Society and Brown Bag Food Project invite the community to participate in their joint pet food drive. It is a community-wide effort to help ensure no pet goes hungry this holiday season.

Wood County Humane Society will be collecting donations of pet food for Brown Bag Food Project. Donors’ generosity will provide much-needed relief to families in the community.

Donations of wet or dry food for dogs and cats, in opened and unexpired packaging will be accepted. For those who have picky eaters at home, Brown Bag Food Project also accepts open dry dog and cat food. People can also donate gallon and quart-size resealable food storage bags.

Donations can be dropped off at the Woodland Mall, 1234 N. Main St., Bowling Green, at the South entrance, next to Awaken Catholic. People can bring donations on Friday, Nov. 28, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 30, from noon – 4 p.m.
