SUBMITTED BY HORIZON YOUTH THEATRE
Horizon Youth Theatre is proud to present William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” as its first “Elsewhere” production. Performances are Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St. in Bowling Green. Tickets are available at the door or on the HYT website.
Set in Italy amidst added seasonal cheer, “Much Ado” tells the story of returning soldiers and the ladies who love them (or are tricked into loving them). A family vendetta leads to a disastrous wedding as miscommunications and a bumbling constable wreak havoc on Messina in one of Shakespeare’s funniest comedies.
