From EXCHANGE CLUB OF BOWLING GREEN
Members of the Exchange Club of Bowling Green put on their elf personas to wrap gifts they collected to help the residents of Wood Lane Residential Services celebrate the season.
The club’s holiday project assembled kits for all 18 group homes. Over the last four weeks, Exchange Club members have collected and donated gingerbread house kits, grocery gift cards, coloring books and pencils, musical instruments to ring in the New Year, party hats, stickers, and a set of cake mixes and icing, because no party is complete without cake.
Kristie Peek, WLRS staff member, joined the club members and said, “You don’t know how much this will mean to our residents. We really appreciate all you have done for them.”
In 2025, the Exchange Club has supported Brown Bag Food Project, Wood County District Public Library’s Bookmobile, the Farm-to-Market project at the Wood County Fair, and Bowling Green High School student scholarships as part of its commitment to unity through service.
Guests are always welcome to join club members for lunch at noon on Tuesday’s in Beckett’s back room and to learn more about the club’s projects. The cost for lunch is $13 per person. The Exchange Club of Bowling Green has been serving the community since 1946 and its motto is “unity for service.”
