Wilma Kidd, a beloved registered nurse, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, just three days after her 93rd birthday. Born on December 19, 1932, in Rudolph, Ohio, she spent most of her life in the Bowling Green area, a place she called home.
Wilma dedicated her career to caring for others, earning her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from the Toledo School of Nursing. She worked at Toledo Hospital and later at the Community Nursing Home, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of so many.
Wilma was a devoted member of the Plain Congregational Church, where she actively participated in church activities. In addition to her nursing career, she found joy in volunteering at the local food pantry, playing the piano, and creating beautiful knitted and crocheted items for her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah (Tony) Esposito of Grandville, OH; Joanna (Keith) Bateman of West Des Moines, IA; and Judy (Carey) Valentine of Brownstown, MI. She leaves behind 15 cherished grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love. Ralph Junior Kidd, her beloved sons Daniel and Doyle, and her siblings Willis, Leo “Jake”, Carol, and Elsie.
Wilma enjoyed a number of years as a resident at Heritage, where she made many wonderful friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Wilma will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at Plain Congregational Church, Bowling Green. Interment will immediately follow at Plain Township Cemetery.
