ODOT lists road projects and detours planned in Wood County

Following is a list of projects planned by the Ohio Department of Transportation that will affect motorists in Wood County

Southbound Interstate 280 exit ramp to Ohio 795 will experience shoulder restrictions for ditch cleaning beginning Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.

Southbound Interstate 475, between Ohio 25 and U.S. 24, will experience full closures for multiple consecutive weekends for pavement repairs. Detour: Northbound I-475 loop to I-75 north or south.

  • Southbound I-475 full weekend closures: May 8-10; May 15-17, (no impacts Memorial Day weekend), May 29-31, June 5-7. 
  • Northbound I-475 full weekend closures will occur after the Route 795 bridge replacement is complete.

U.S. 20, between Ohio 420 and Ohio 105, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through May.

Route 25, between Perrysburg and Bowling Green, will experience lane restrictions for culvert inspections daily, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. the week of April 27-30.

Ohio 64, between Kellogg Road and Bishop Road, will be closed for a bridge replacement beginning Monday, May 4, for 45 days. Detour: Ohio 582 to Route 25 to Route 64.

Ohio 65, between Eagle Point Road and Colony Road, will be closed for a bridge replacement beginning Monday, May 4, for 105 days. Detour: Route 65 to I-75 to Route 25 to Route 65.

Ohio 199 at Five Point Road will be converted to an all-way stop beginning Tuesday, May 5. Advance notification signage will be posted two weeks prior to the change.

Route 795 over I-75, between the I-75 northbound and southbound ramps, is closed for bridge deck replacement through early July. Westbound detour: Northbound I-75 to Buck Road to southbound I-75 to Route 795. Eastbound detour: Southbound I-75 to Fremont Pike to northbound I-75 to Route 795.

  • Route 795, between White Road and the closed bridge, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through June.
