Operation Outfit seeks to serve those who have served others – veterans. Recently, Operation Outfit completed a “drop” at Bowling Green Manor, honoring veterans by providing them with a bag filled with clothes, blankets, and other necessities. Each veteran also received a letter from an Oakdale elementary student in Mrs. Booth’s class.

Upon arrival, veterans were greeted with root beer floats from Sincere Hospice. Once the program began, each veteran was recognized by name and branch in which they served. In addition to the Operation Outfit bag, veterans were given stars from retired flags and goodie bags from the Wood County Veteran’s Affairs Office to thank them for their service. The Operation Outfit bags were funded by Principle Business Enterprises.

To support Operation Outfit, people can shop its online store here. Proceeds from all sales go directly toward helping local veterans.

Operation Outfit’s mission is to honor and support veterans in healthcare facilities by providing accessible, new clothing through its mobile donation program. It aims to serve those who have served the country by meeting them where they are, ensuring they have the resources they need to live with dignity and comfort. Through community-driven support, Operation Outfit strives to make a lasting impact in the lives of veterans and their families.
