The Bowling Green Exchange Club delivered 80 treat bags to Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home last week to help the residents celebrate Flag Day.

The bags included a variety of sweet treats, red, white, and blue balloons, and glow stick bracelets. The gifts were part of the Exchange Club’s monthly program of service benefitting community organizations.

“Any donations from the community are just awesome and greatly appreciated,” said Kimberly McMillan, the facility’s activities director. She expressed thanks to the Exchange Club for providing the treats and for recognizing BG Manor.

“It’s our pleasure to work with you and we hope the residents will enjoy this Flag Day,” said Michele Raine, secretary of the Exchange Club.

Guests are always welcome to join club members for lunch at noon on Tuesdays in Beckett’s back room and to learn more about the club’s projects. The cost for lunch is $13 per person.
