Robert K. “Bob” Crawford, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
Bob was born on August 4, 1947, to the late Ray and Gloria (Lein) Crawford. On July 13, 1968, he married the love of his life, Jacqueline “Jackie” Dibling, who survives him in Bowling Green, Ohio. Together they shared 58 years of love, devotion, and countless cherished memories.
A 1965 graduate of Elmwood High School, Bob built a successful career as a sales representative for Front Range Fire Apparatus in Longmont, Colorado. For more than 20 years, he took pride in serving fire departments by providing equipment that helped support those who protect their communities.
Bob embraced life with a spirit of adventure and a love for the outdoors. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and drag racing, reading books, snow skiing, hiking, and fly fishing. He loved the Cleveland Indians Baseball team and The Ohio State Football team. Bob loved various genres of music and his musical knowledge was endless. He and Jackie shared a passion for travel, visiting 49 of the 50 states together, with only Hawaii left to explore.
Above all, Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his family, especially his three beloved grandchildren.
Along with his beloved wife Jackie, Bob is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Scott) Heffernan of Conroe, Texas, his sister Diana Foster of Wayne, Ohio and his 3 loving grandchildren Tyler, Zachary and Riley Heffernan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation, The American Diabetes Association, or Ohioans Hospice.
