From HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WOOD COUNTY
Habitat for Humanity of Wood County is inviting local businesses and community leaders to join a growing list of supporters for the 2026 Hard Hats & High Heels gala, scheduled for Sept. 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons.
As preparations continue for Habitat’s signature fundraising event, sponsorship opportunities remain available at several levels, allowing organizations to support affordable housing while receiving recognition throughout the event and its promotional campaign.
Sponsorship levels range from Foundation Builder ($250) to the premier Raise the Roof Champion sponsorship ($10,000), with benefits including event recognition, website and social media visibility, networking opportunities, and participation in one of northwest Ohio’s philanthropic events.
The gala will feature live music, cocktails, chef-curated dining, silent and live auctions, and auction experiences benefiting Habitat for Humanity’s mission of helping local families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.
Community members who are unable to sponsor are encouraged to purchase event tickets and attend the celebration. Attendance is limited, and organizers anticipate strong community participation.
“Every sponsorship helps us continue building decent, affordable homes and making critical home repairs throughout Wood County,” said Sarah Shanek. “This event is an opportunity for businesses and individuals to make a meaningful local impact while celebrating the power of community.”
