The Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Division will continue waterline work along Conneaut Avenue and Grove Street this week. It is anticipated that Grove Street will re-open to traffic by Wednesday, June 14. Crews have been experiencing equipment failures and more rock than expected within the work area, both of which have prolonged the project.
Work along Conneaut Avenue will require a closure to through traffic on Wednesday, June 14, including overnight. It is anticipated that the road will re-open to traffic on Friday, June 16. This work is a continuation of the water main line replacement project, including domestic service line connection – specifically during this time, those residents located west of Cedar Lane. Due to this, residents within the affected area will temporarily lose service on June 15, between the hours of 8: a.m. and 3 p.m. Theseproperties will be issued a boil advisory once service is restored.
