“Donnie” as he was known by his friends, has left this earth after 90 years of blessed living, to reunite with his deceased family members and friends, in the 3rd haven, awaiting the new heaven and earth.
Donnie leaves behind daughter Nicole Vollmar, son Donald J. Pfeffer 2nd, granddaughters MacKenzie (Brooks) Hall and Brittany Vollmar, and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his loving wife Barbara H. Garner; father Donald J. Pfeffer and mother Grace M Pfeffer; Minnie Kern, grandmother; brothers Martin and Robert.
Donnie was the retired president of D.A. Pfeffer Associates, an architectural and construction management company, located in Romeo Michigan, Monroe Michigan, and Toledo Ohio. His firm designed and built many industrial and commercial buildings throughout Michigan and Ohio.
His main hobbies were sailing, golf, tennis, photography, and poem writing.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St.
