It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles “Charlie” V. Scott, who left us on November 1, 2026, at the age of 75. Charlie was a friendly presence in our community.
Born on October 10, 1951, Charlie graduated from Otsego High School and dedicated over 32 years of hard work at American Lincoln until its closure in 2006. He had a passion for the outdoors that included hunting and fishing, and he was never one to shy away from cheering on the underdog during football season. Whether he was at an auction or spending quality time with family piecing together puzzles, Charlie found joy in the simple things.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Robin Scott, and their son Trapis (Penny) Scott. He is also remembered by his daughter Tasha (Matt) Haluska, along with two children from previous marriages. He took great pride in his grandchildren Tyler, Hailey, and Blake, as well as his great-grandson Josiah. Charlie is further survived by his sister, Julie (Dennis) Warren. His niece Dessi, known as his go girl, was always there spending time with him as well. He was preceded in death by his mother, Trella, and his brother, Donald Noss.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the public viewing at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. Following the viewing, a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
