Man arrested for reportedly threatening to shoot Jimmy John’s workers

A Findlay man was arrested early Sunday morning after threatening to shot employees at the Jimmy John’s restaurant at the corner of East Wooster and North Prospect in Bowling Green.

Around 3:08 a.m., Alan Durden, 21, reportedly told the workers he had a gun and threatened to shoot them, according to Bowling Green Police Lt. Dan Mancuso.

“They were in fear for their safety,” Mancuso said.

Durden also reportedly damaged one of the Jimmy John’s driver’s cars when he knocked the sign off the top of the vehicle.

Police located Durden at the corner of North Prospect and East Court Street.

Durden was charged with aggravated menacing and criminal mischief, and taken to the Wood County jail.
