New patients or existing patients who have not been seen at Wood County Community Health Center yet in 2019 can come for a free health care visit on Tuesdays in September.
The Wood County Community Health Center will host “Free Health Care Tuesdays” starting Sept. 10. Walk-in patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments may be scheduled for another day if not everyone can be seen.
Bring a list of your top health concerns. A primary care provider will work with you to come up with a plan to improve your health. Nurse practitioner Sally Royston will see patients one-on-one to help get everyone back on track.
Lab work, Pap tests and other specialized services are not included in this visit.
People of all ages are welcome. There will be no charge for the visit. Please use this as an opportunity to tour our facility and meet our providers.
The mission of Wood County Community Health Center is to provide quality health services to improve the well-being of individuals and families. We welcome all patients regardless of income level or insurance coverage. We offer a sliding fee benefit based on household size and income. No one is refused service because of inability to pay. We can help you sign up for Medicaid and Marketplace insurance.
