Incumbent school board members Jill Carr, 3,602, and Ginny Stewart, 3,095, lion re-election and will be joined by Tracy Hovest who garnered 2,823 votes. All three supported the income tax and bond issue
Other candidates are: Peggy Thompson, 2,342; Grant Chamberlain, 2,232; Ryan Myers, 2,029; Richard Strow, 2,016; and Brian Smith 1,851.
In the contested city council races: Democrat Rachel Phipps, 955, defeated Republican Ryan Holley, 827 in the Third Ward. The seat was vacated by Mike Aspacher who was running unopposed for mayor.
In the Fourth Ward, incumbent Republican William Herald, 1,578, defeated Democrat Jeff Dennis with 1,457.
