Margaret Schooner, 73, of Rudolph, Ohio passed away January 24, 2020. She was born November 8, 1946 in Bowling Green to the later Jay D. and Dorthea (Russell) Sheeks. She married Gary Schooner on August 19, 1967 and he survives in Rudolph.
Margaret loved hummingbirds and enjoyed working in her yard. Her greatest joy in life came from the time she spent with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Along with her husband Gary, Margaret is survived by her daughter Tammie (Don) Ameling of Bowling Green, granddaughters Sarah Ameling and Sydney Ameling, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 step-brothers.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday January 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Andrea Curry will officiate.
The family would like to give special thanks to Larry and Carol Bateson and friend of the family, Jackie Silverwood for all of their support. Also thanks to the BG Care Center staff for the amazing care they gave Margaret during her stay.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
