This letter is to offer my full support and endorsement for Corey Speweik for Judge on the Wood County Common Pleas Court. Mr. Speweik is a competent, experienced attorney and prosecutor who is ready to serve as Wood County’s newest judge.
Corey has an unmatched breadth and depth of experience in both civil and criminal matters. He is an experienced litigator with experience in complex legal matters, a law director and prosecutor for four Wood County villages, and he serves as a Magistrate for courts in Walbridge and Northwood.
He is a proud defender of the Rule of Law and the Constitution, understands the important role of law enforcement to the safety of our communities, and fully supports the men and women who serve our communities in law enforcement.
Importantly, he has the judicial temperament necessary to be an outstanding judge, including the qualities of patience, open-mindedness, courtesy, tact, firmness, understanding, compassion and humility. These qualities will allow him to deal with people calmly and courteously, and consider the views of all sides of a case.
