Judith, A Springstead ,80, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away August 20, 2021. She was born on February 4, 1941, her parents were the late Lenore and Charles Clark of Toledo. She married Gilbert “Bert” E. Springstead on August 9, 1964 and they were married 39 before he passed on June 5, 2004.
Judith is survived by her sons: Gil Springstead of Bowling Green, OH; and Geoff Springstead of Weston, OH; daughter Joyce Merillat of Fayette,OH; grandchildren: Tony, Jessica, Jennifer, Randy, Patty, Kyle, Devin, Bryce Jim, Ben, Tiffany; and sister Sandy Smith. Judith was preceded in death by her parents: Lenore and Charles, husband Bert, daughter Jill Trevino, and brother Bob Periatt.
Judith was in the graduating class of 1959 at Clay High School. She attended the University of Toledo and went on to work as the bookkeeper/accountant for Perrysburg Pipe and Supply for many years. She was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and OSU football. She enjoyed playing euchre, and seeing her friends at the Wood County Senior Center. She was very proud to be a member of the Al-Anon Family Groups for almost 50 years. Memorial contributions in Judith’s honor may be gifted to Al-Anon Family Groups.
