Bowling Green Police arrested a man for domestic violence Thursday (March 7) afternoon after receiving a call about a woman possibly being harmed in the 200 block of Napoleon Road.
Police located the man, Eric Wilson, 31, of Bowling Green, walking in the 600 block of Seventh Street. Wilson reportedly told police he and the woman driving the car had argued, and she broke his cell phone.
The woman had numerous red marks on her throat, but reportedly told police not to photograph her neck because it was reddened due to her being angry. She also told police that she bought the phone and pays the bills on the phone used by Wilson. When she smashed the phone, Wilson reportedly pulled her hair.
Police saw a 4-year-old child in the back of the woman’s car. An officer gave the woman a Victim of Crime pamphlet, and filled out a BGPD Family Violence Form and an Ohio Victims’ Rights request form and sent her a copy.
Wilson was charged with domestic violence and was taken to Wood County Jail.
