When schools are strong, the community is strong; business owners urge support of BG school levy

As local business owners with long-term roots in the Bowling Green community, we are writing to express our strong support for the upcoming school levy in November. Last week, we learned that our state report card ranking rose to a score of 4.5 out of 5. This is the right time to build on the momentum from that ranking and ensure that Bowling Green schools continue to have enough resources to do their work.

Families and businesses alike are drawn to communities that invest in their schools. Our employees reside throughout northwest Ohio, and we hear firsthand that school quality is a primary driver when families choose where to live. The levy will strengthen our investment in school quality without raising our local income tax above the rates of other communities in northwest Ohio.

When our schools are strong, our community is strong, too. We urge all community members to unite in supporting the upcoming school levy, and we’re proud to support this effort.
