The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Luca Brininger is the November 2024 Student of the Month. Luca is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 25, 2025. He is the son of Todd Brininger and Bethany Swanson.
Luca’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, National Rural and Small Town recognition, and Scholar Athlete award. Luca participates on the high school soccer team where he is currently the team captain, 1st team All-League (junior and senior year) and 2nd team All-District (senior year). Additionally, Luca is very involved in club soccer where he plays for ECNL, a high level of youth soccer.
Outside of school, Luca is a soccer referee for youth soccer in the Toledo area. He has also volunteered at the local food pantry. Luca has a composite ACT score of 35 and a 4.41 grade point average. After high school, Luca plans on attending Washington University in St. Louis to study chemical engineering.
